About The Position
This Weekend opportunity in Intake and Admissions will support the purpose and procedures of the entire intake and admission process. It offers a convenient day shift schedule and there is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts if interested. Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 114-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50 bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. Requirements
- Master's degree in social work/counseling/psychology or related field OR current license to practice nursing in GA (or eligible to receive or renew) REQUIRED.
- Experience working in the behavioral health field required; inpatient setting experience preferred
- Demonstrated comprehension of psychiatric and substance abuse disorders and level-of-care determinations
- Previous heavy data entry experience
Responsibilities
- Handle intake calls, complete thorough intake assessments, and enter all intake and admission data into hospital database
- Determine with MDs staffing level of care; establish and maintain positive relationships with referral sources
- Maintain daily census records; verify insurance benefits
