About The Position
NaphCare is hiring an Intake Coordinator to join their team of medical professionals in the Kilby Facility in Mt. Meigs, AL. This posting is open exclusively to current AL DOC incumbent employees. As an Intake Coordinator, you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals to support staff, physicians, and patients, ensuring compliance, quality care, and efficient workflows. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients with complex mental health and medical needs.
Requirements
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation
- Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
- Ability to maintain integrity, professionalism and adhere to a Code of Conduct
- Ability to comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
- Must pass the facility’s criminal background check
- Must pass drug screening
