About The Position

The short and sweet: Responsible for direct clinical admission services; conduct appropriate screenings to coordinate and make appropriate referrals to services both internal and external resources.

Requirements

Master's Degree in a Mental Health Field.
Must be a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP). E.g.: An individual possessing a master's or doctorate degree in counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling and guidance, rehabilitation counseling, vocational counseling, psychology, social work, pastoral counseling or family therapy or related field who has successfully completed a practicum or has one (1) year of experience under the supervision of a mental health professional.
Must hold or obtain by start date, MO Class E Driver's License (Class D for IL Residents), and proof of continuous auto insurance.
Must also meet CCC's Motor Vehicle Record standards policy and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough assessments and complete appropriate screenings and testing along with a DLA-20
Determine and provide internal and external referrals to appropriate programs.
Evaluate and determine appropriate interventions and referrals to assist consumers.
Meet with Director and Intake Team to staff cases as needed.
Schedule therapy appointments, intakes, treatment and psychiatric appointments for consumers referred to the agency.
Make follow-up calls to engage the consumer and facilitate the recovery process.
Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
