Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of admissions or healthcare experience, ideally within mental health or addiction recovery settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills — you’re empathetic, organized, and able to balance multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with community resources, treatment coordination, and client documentation.
  • Professional phone etiquette and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-admission assessments and ensure all criteria and documentation meet facility and insurance standards.
  • Interview clients and families to understand needs, verify intake criteria, and provide guidance on treatment options.
  • Collaborate closely with referral sources and treatment partners, supporting smooth communication and positive outcomes.
  • Coordinate admission logistics — including transportation, scheduling, and paperwork — to ensure a seamless intake experience.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in our CRM and support the flow of admissions through follow-ups and waitlist management.
  • Complete insurance verifications and pre-certifications in alignment with company policy.
  • Welcome and assist clients and visitors at the front desk, helping maintain a safe, calm, and professional lobby environment.
