Requirements

  • Must have intake experience (home health experience strongly preferred)
  • Minimum 2+ years of intake experience required
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance verification
  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work on-site in Falls Church, VA
  • This is NOT a remote position

Responsibilities

  • Manage new patient referrals with urgency and professionalism
  • Coordinate with physicians, families, and referral sources
  • Verify insurance and obtain required authorizations
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to schedule start-of-care dates
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
