About The Position

This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while admitting animals that are going to become part of the Adoption Program. This role is responsible for partnering with the main sources of intake such as the public, rescues and other shelters. This position is also responsible for interfacing with our key sourcing partners, the public, and volunteers. Keeps track of lost/found animals with chips or ID. Handles stray emails during operating hours. Work patiently with distressed, frustrated or disgruntled clients. Answering calls and returning calls Handling return-to-owner processes with Vet Tech and ensuring proper paperwork is completed. Manages office needs (supply requests, building repairs, etc.) Helps with daily needs like laundry, dishes, cleaning as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Must display and provide excellent Customer Service. Works directly under the supervision of the Intake Manager. Cross-trained in procedures for exam room and may be utilized when staff shortages occur. Assists medical team with handling animals. MUST be able to lift 50+ lbs Bilingual a PLUS! $16.00 an hour - with the opportunity for increase for performance, potentially up to $19.00 within the first 9 months plus annual increases. This is a full-time non-exempt 40hrs a week schedule working weekends and the schedule will vary from 730am-4pm and 830am-5pm. We are not considering part-time for this position.
