About The Position

The Intake Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and efficient client/patient intake process, which is essential for the success of our System. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused, with strong communication skills. In this role, you will effectively manage all aspects of client/patient intake, ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering positive relationships with clients and referral sources. As an Intake Coordinator , you will be responsible for managing the intake process, verifying insurance coverage, and addressing client inquiries and concerns. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance are
  • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently .
  • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift .
  • Sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in patient intake or medical office administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and patients to the organization, ensuring a warm and friendly environment.
  • Communicate effectively about referrals and pertinent client/patient information to all disciplines.
  • Complete Screening/Admission paperwork thoroughly and accurately, understanding its importance.
  • Gain a basic comprehension of ICD-10 and HCPC/CPT codes and therapy types.
  • Verify medical insurance coverage and benefits for each client/patient, ensuring financial clearance.
  • Schedule appointments for consultations, tests, and procedures efficiently.
  • Maintain up-to-date Census information utilizing the Bed Board.
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries in a timely manner .
  • Address any client/patient complaints or concerns promptly.
  • Perform clerical work such as filing, copying, or faxing.
  • Prepare and maintain client/patient charts in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership across multiple locations to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Be flexible to duties and responsibilities that may shift based on management's discretion.
