CHD is seeking a passionate and dedicated Intake Clinician for our Southern Region Team. Pine St. Clinic located in Springfield, MA, Prospect Center located in East Longmeadow, MA, and Park St. Clinic located in West Springfield, MA. Our outpatient clinics provide high-quality care with an outpatient community behavioral health setting. About the Role: The Intake Clinician will be the initial access to care for those seeking services in the Springfield, West Springfield and East Longmeadow areas. We provide support and services for ages 5 through the life span. You will provide initial assessments and referrals in the Outpatient setting, both in office and via telehealth. Key Responsibilities: Provide annual comprehensive assessments to clients receiving psychiatric services with an emphasis on evaluating level of care needs. Discuss and submit referrals to other supportive services. Ensure confidentiality and adhere to all privacy regulations. Build and maintain a strong collaborative relationship with both internal and external treatment teams as appropriate. Provide initial and annual comprehensive assessments to clients seeking and receiving outpatient and psychiatric services with an emphasis on evaluating level of care needs. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Engage professionally with clients, colleagues, and supervisors. Requirements: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or other closely related field Massachusetts Independent Behavioral Health License -LICSW preferred, will consider LMHC. 1+ years in an outpatient behavioral health setting. Ability to have a clear driving record and pass CORI, background checks as required for the role Strong communication, organizational, collaboration and documentation skills SUCCESS FACTORS: To excel in this role, you will be a thought provoking, innovative and detailed orientated Clinician. Ideal candidates must have strong documentation and assessment skills. Schedule: This is a flexible hybrid full-time opportunity. You don’t need to carry a caseload, but option is available if desired. We are offering a competitive starting pay of $50-$55/hr. which is complimented by a phenomenal benefits package.
