The region’s leading provider of integrated behavioral and primary health care is seeking an integrated outpatient clinician to work with our clients in Granite City, IL. Position is full-time; daytime hours.

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $21.00 - $22.00 an hour. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity. Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ supervised mental health experience and obtain Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (CADC) within 2 years of hire.
• Must be willing to be trained in Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA) and obtain CRA certification within 3 months following training.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office and an electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Help consumers to regain control over their lives through self-directed recovery.
• Promote the recovery model of treatment including trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness, and spirituality/connectedness.
• Use evidence-based practices focusing on individual, family, and group therapy.
• Link clients to community resources including DCFS, probation/parole, courts, medical care, and natural supports.
• Promote positive interactions within Chestnut and with the community to sustain a favorable program reputation.
