Your Role: Ensures that all patients receiving services at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital have been assigned the correct insurance plan, policy number, and authorization number. Utilizes excellent customer service skills when working with physician offices, third party payers, and patients. Communicates financial and insurance information to Case Management, Utilization Management, and Financial Counseling staff members (when appropriate). Performs these functions in accordance with the facility's philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
