About The Position

As an Insurance Underwriting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting underwriting functions through a blend of administrative coordination, reporting, and system management. You’ll work closely with underwriters and leadership to ensure processes run efficiently, data remains accurate, and reporting is timely and insightful. In this role, you will prepare and distribute reports and dashboards, assist with system updates and data validation, and help maintain underwriting tools and tracking processes. You’ll also coordinate meetings, manage documentation, and support expense reporting and compliance with company guidelines. Your ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on details will directly impact the success of the underwriting team. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams. Your strong Excel skills—such as using VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and moderately complex formulas—will help you analyze and present information effectively. You’re comfortable learning new systems like Salesforce and Concur, and you bring a proactive, self-starter mindset with a sharp attention to detail.
