Requirements

Experience in delivering customer-centered solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
Excellent skills in communication: listening and presenting
Goal-oriented with a passion for achieving financial success
Skilled at networking and committed to the community in which you work
High level of integrity with a track record of showing consistency between words and action
Licensed in property, casualty, and life insurance—or committed to obtaining licenses within 60 days of being hired

Responsibilities

Design and implement effective marketing strategies to sell new insurance policies or adjust existing ones
Contact potential clients and create rapport by networking, cold calling, using referrals, etc.
Evaluate and analyze the needs of business or individual customers and sell suitable protection plans across multiple lines of business
Conduct needs-based customer policy reviews
Stay abreast of the insurance industry and company protocols and policy changes to ensure fulfillment of all policy requirements, all while providing superior customer service
Keep sales databases, customer records, and related organizational tools current to accurately report progress of marketing and sales efforts
Capitalize on client cross-sale and retention opportunities
