We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business and commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients find the best coverage solutions. As an Insurance Sales Agent at Aligned Insurance, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and providing expert guidance on a wide range of insurance products.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in insurance sales, with a focus on business and commercial insurance preferred.
  • Strong understanding of multiline insurance products and commercial coverage options.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Active insurance license(s) in the relevant state(s) required.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
  • Prospect and identify potential clients through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Conduct client consultations to assess insurance requirements and recommend appropriate policies.
  • Insurance Product Knowledge:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, insurance products, and market conditions.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive explanations of policy options, coverage details, and exclusions.
  • Develop expertise in business and commercial insurance products, including liability, property, workers’ compensation, and other relevant coverage.
  • Policy Sales and Service:
  • Generate and deliver quotes to clients based on their specific needs and risk profiles.
  • Assist clients with the completion of insurance applications and gather necessary documentation.
  • Ensure timely and accurate issuance of policies and endorsements.
  • Client Support and Claims Assistance:
  • Address client inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns related to their policies.
  • Provide guidance and support during the claims process, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Compliance and Documentation:
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies related to insurance sales and client interactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, policy details, and sales activities.
  • Sales Strategy and Goals:
  • Work towards achieving sales targets and performance metrics set by the agency.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust sales strategies to maximize opportunities and meet client needs.
  • Professional Development:
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry changes and enhance sales skills.
  • Maintain required licenses and certifications.
