About The Position

The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective Field Insurance Agent I who is responsible for the sale and service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch. This position involves using sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s overall insurance book of business. The agent will effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain insured clients, work to meet or exceed targets defined in the sales incentive plan, conduct insurance reviews for clients, and participate in local branch events to solicit new business.

Requirements

  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
  • Current Life Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses for selling ACG products.
  • Obtain Health and Accident licenses where applicable.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs.
  • Generate new sales and retain existing insureds.
  • Grow ACG’s overall insurance book of business.
  • Overcome objections to close sales and retain insured clients.
  • Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan.
  • Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products.
  • Use provided tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk and recommend products.
  • Participate in local branch events to solicit new business.
  • Build rapport to establish customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance and financial products.
