About The Position

The Auto Club Group is seeking a prospective Field Insurance Agent I who is responsible for the sale and service of ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products within an ACG branch. This position uses sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow ACG’s overall insurance book of business. The role involves effectively overcoming objections to close sales and/or retain insured clients, conducting insurance reviews for clients, and participating in local branch events to solicit new business.

Requirements

  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance Sales license.
  • Current Life & Health Insurance Sales license, or obtain within 90 days of hire.
  • Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced computer automated business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and service ACG branded and brokered insurance products, memberships, and financial products.
  • Identify customer-specific needs to generate new sales and retain existing insureds.
  • Conduct insurance reviews for clients to identify suitable products.
  • Use provided tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk and recommend appropriate products.
  • Participate in local branch events to solicit new business and expand business networks.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests relating to insurance, membership, and financial products.
