About The Position

Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has a dynamic full-time employment opportunity for a mid-level Associate in our Insurance Regulatory & Transactions Practice. This is a location flexible position primarily with a team that frequently works across the GT platform. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Requirements

  • Ideal candidates will have 3-5 years of experience in insurance regulatory matters, real estate transactions, and/or financial services regulation with a particular focus on clients in the insurance industry.
  • The associate will support the firm’s title insurance practice in a broad range of matters including regulatory due diligence in connection with insurance entity mergers and acquisitions, state insurance department examinations, applications, and licensing matters, and new product or program development.
  • The associate will also advise clients in the settlement services industry on transactional and regulatory matters involving title insurance, escrow operations, affiliated business arrangements, and joint venture title agencies.
  • Candidates should have strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • This position also requires a candidate who is well organized and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in title insurance, escrow operations, and/or other settlement services is strongly preferred.
