About The Position
As an Insurance Product Manager for General Liability at Central, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our GL insurance product. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and driving innovation within the insurance industry. You will be responsible for developing and communicating a long-term strategy for the GL product, ensuring that it aligns with corporate objectives and meets the needs of our target customers. Your work will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business intelligence, pricing, data science, and design research, to evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes. In this role, you will conduct thorough market discovery through research, focusing on industry trends and emerging technologies that impact your product area. You will partner with various departments, including underwriting operations, legal, and compliance, to ensure that all legal and regulatory requirements are met. Additionally, you will own the P&L performance of your product, driving profitability and establishing product strategies that promote growth in assigned states. Your responsibilities will also include identifying and prioritizing product development opportunities, creating and managing a product roadmap, and coordinating with teams across the organization to ensure successful execution of product changes. You will track financial and performance metrics, actively monitor KPIs, and communicate progress towards business outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can synthesize large amounts of information and translate insights into actionable plans, while also possessing strong communication and leadership skills to influence stakeholders effectively.
