About The Position

This role requires both a creative, entrepreneurial mindset as well as the proven ability to tactically support a frontline of sales professionals. This individual will work alongside of advisors in every aspect of the new business process, and they will also assist in the strategic planning process to help shape the insurance program as it grows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of a documented, successful sales track record in the insurance industry.
  • Life licensed in applicable states and Series 6 and 63 preferred.
  • Experienced with working in a partner referral environment.
  • Must be willing and able to travel routinely to advisor offices and client meetings.
  • Expert level user of online engagement tools (TEAMS, Zoom, etc.) and the ability to conduct professional meetings from a home office.

  • Travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Wholesale experience is a plus.
  • Leadership experience is preferred with a proven track record to motivate and move others with your goals and vision.

Responsibilities

  • Work with advisors across Lincoln locations to generate insurance business. This will include assisting with training and education, working with advisors to plan, quote, submit and issue new business, and interacting directly with clients in partnership with advisors.
  • Act as a contact and liaison with carrier partners, BGAs and IMOs.
  • Understand and support the advisor-client relationship in all aspects of the business.
  • Develop key relationships with advisors, support staff and members of the Lincoln organization to help promote the insurance business.
  • Assist with strategic planning and goal setting.
  • Participate in the advisor recruiting process.
