To strengthen our Transformation & Business Service division, we are looking for an Insurance Manager (m/f/diverse) who will oversee our international insurance portfolio and act as the central point of contact for external insurance providers.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in economics, law, insurance management, or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in insurance management, ideally in an international industrial company, with an insurance broker, or an insurance provider
  • Strong knowledge in structuring and managing international insurance programs
  • Experience in collaborating with global insurers and brokers
  • Strong analytical skills and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in an international environment
  • Fluency in German and English, both in written and spoken form
  • A structured, independent, and solution‑oriented working style

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company’s global insurance portfolio, including Property, Liability, Transport, Cyber, and additional specialty insurance lines
  • Serve as the central contact and strategic interface for external insurance providers, brokers, and relevant partners
  • Develop, optimize, and steer global insurance programs in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyze and assess corporate risks and define suitable risk‑transfer strategies
  • Lead international tender processes and negotiations with insurers and brokers to ensure optimal coverage and cost efficiency
  • Coordinate and support claims management in partnership with internal departments and external service providers
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across international markets
  • Prepare analyses, reports, and decision proposals for senior management
