The Ohio Department of Insurance’s License Division is seeking a detailed oriented candidate to fill the Insurance Licensing Examiner position. Requirements

36 months training or 36 months experience in insurance field (i.e., regulatory or industry) (e.g., agent, licensing technician, underwriter, claims adjuster)
two (2) courses or six (6) months experience in customer service
12 months training or 12 months experience in operation of personal computer
Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.

Responsibilities

Gathers information and documents
Review and analyze applications and supporting documents to determine license eligibility or continued eligibility
Review and analyze license status and transactions
Performs maintenance services on license records
Reviews, researches, and resolves customer issues and complaints
Make appropriate referrals to management and/or other divisions
Provides professional written and/or verbal response for requests of information
Assist customers via telephone/email by providing accurate and professional responses
Performs related office and clerical duties
Assists in the overall operation of the division
Performs other duties as assigned.
