About The Position

Responsible for coordinating the activities of Insurance Follow Up team, assisting the Insurance Follow-Up Supervisor, acting as primary contact for insurance follow-up questions, and promoting patient satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of business office experience in billing, customer service, or collections in a healthcare environment is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Maintains knowledge of payer specific appeal procedures.
• Maintains knowledge of payer denial reason and remark codes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
