Rivkin Radler is seeking a litigation associate with a minimum of four years of experience to join our Uniondale office. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in insurance coverage matters, with a focus on third-party liability coverage (not insurance defense). Experience handling coverage disputes involving duty to defend, duty to indemnify, additional insured issues, policy interpretation, and reservation of rights is preferred. Congenial, fast-paced environment. We offer competitive salary and benefits. The annualized salary range for this position is $135,000 to $195,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. EOE. Requirements

  • Minimum of four years of litigation experience
  • Interest in insurance coverage, particularly third-party liability coverage; prior coverage experience preferred
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex insurance policies and coverage positions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters

Nice To Haves

  • Experience handling coverage disputes involving duty to defend, duty to indemnify, additional insured issues, policy interpretation, and reservation of rights is preferred
