About The Position

This role will assist our Policy Services and Audit departments and perform a variety of customer service and administrative tasks. Examples include engaging with our insurance agents and policyholders on a daily basis, processing insurance policy changes and maintaining information within the departments, and processing year-end audits. Previous experience in insurance is preferred but not required.

Requirements

  • Three (3)+ years of professional administrative office experience OR holds a relevant bachelor's degree
  • Has a good numbers sense and can perform basic calculations independently
  • Able and willing to commute and work onsite at our Tallahassee office Monday - Friday
  • Provides excellent customer service and likes to interact over the phone and via email.
  • Takes initiative with unfamiliar tasks and isn't afraid to come forward with questions.
  • Understands how to prioritize time-sensitive tasks.
  • Enjoys working in a professional office setting.
  • Is detail-oriented and exhibits strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Is self-motivated and also appreciates inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Is looking for a long-term position at a company they can grow alongside.
  • Have 1+ years' professional experience with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Are computer-savvy and capable of picking up new programs quickly.
  • Enjoy collaborating with others and working independently.
  • Can work 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday – Thursday and 9:00am – 4:00pm on Fridays.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in insurance is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for our insurance agents and policyholders through regular communication, both over the phone and via email.
  • Process insurance policy changes as requested.
  • Interact regularly with our insurance agents and policyholders to request needed information.
  • Provide technical support to agents and policyholders needing assisting navigating online portals.
  • Review, process, and explain year-end insurance policy audits.
  • Provide support for policy services and audit functions.
