About The Position

As an entry level Insurance and Loss Prevention Specialist at Fourteen Foods, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our assets, team members, and customers. You will be responsible for efficiently triaging tickets, retrieving video footage, documenting pertinent information, analyzing POS data for trends, offering policy and procedures support, and effectively communicating findings to various operational teams. This role serves as a vital link between our Loss Prevention department and the broader organization, helping to mitigate risks and prevent losses.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Familiarity with Workers Compensation and/or General Liability Insurance laws and practices
Basic knowledge of surveillance systems and software
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures
Integrity and a commitment to upholding ethical standards
Organizational, planning, and time management skills
Communication skills, both verbal and written
Problem analysis and problem-solving expertise
Working knowledge of Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR)
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Proficient in Loss Prevention Techniques
Knowledge of Video Surveillance Equipment

Responsibilities

Responsible for working directly with insurance adjusters, nurse triage, multiple departments and team members to process claims.
Review and track incidents using Workers Compensation and General Liability claims management site.
Create reports and communication for all Workers Compensation and General Liability data to company stakeholders and provide trend analysis to support future improvement.
Provide recommendations on improvement of all risk and safety directives.
Analyze footage to provide direction and feedback on potential loss.
Retrieve surveillance video footage in response to Loss Prevention, Workers Compensation and General Liability incidents.
Identify key timestamps and relevant video segments related to each case.
Maintain an organized database of video footage for future reference.
Prioritize and manage incoming Loss Prevention tickets and incidents.
Assess the urgency and severity of each case and allocate resources accordingly.
Ensure all relevant information is captured in the initial incident report.
Provide feedback and direction on Loss related incidents to support Operations and HR.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations and HR, to communicate findings and coordinate necessary actions.
Provide timely updates and reports to the Director, Loss Prevention and other relevant stakeholders.
Analyze Point of Sale (POS) data to identify trends and patterns related to potential losses or policy violations.
Collaborate with the Director, Loss Prevention to develop strategies for minimizing losses based on data analysis.
