About The Position

This position is responsible for providing data capture and analysis support to the company. This person will be expected to perform patient account billing as well as payment reconciliations with a high level of precision. This must be an energetic individual who is eager to learn and grow with our company.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent business experience .
• Strong business and data (financial) analysis, analytical and critical thinking capability.
• Medical billing experience preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new financial software applications.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with strict adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Ability to manage heavy workloads in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow up and understanding of financial billing or data principles.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the US.

Nice To Haves

• Medical billing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data reconciliation and auditing of insurance billing activity, payments, and denials of patient financial accounts.
• Verify, attach, and submit insurance claims in EPIC EMR system.
• Navigate multiple hospital and patient financial management systems (EPIC, CERNER, MEDITECH, OTHERS) on a frequent basis.
• Analyze provider performance based on standard internal metrics.
• Provide support to Client Services team for multiple providers and practice management billing units.
