THE POSITION: The Insurance Analyst will support STACK’s operational, construction, and procurement teams by managing Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Surety Bonds, and related compliance workflows. This role ensures that STACK and our partners maintain the insurance protections required to deliver mission-critical environments safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate combines technical insurance knowledge with excellent communication and follow-through, enabling seamless coordination between internal stakeholders, brokers, carriers, contractors, and vendors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in insurance administration, CSR roles, or related work.
  • 5 years’ experience with placing construction surety bonds
  • 5 years’ experience placing and servicing Construction Insurance/OCIP policies
  • 5 years’ experience managing certificates of insurance for construction projects and operational vendors
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume workflows across multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with insurance tracking platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with COI tracking tools (such as through a RMIS or tools such as myCOI, CertFocus, or similar).
  • Property & Casualty license or surety underwriting background.

Responsibilities

  • Insurance Certificate Management Review, validate, and maintain COIs for contractors, suppliers, consultants, and service providers to ensure compliance with STACK’s insurance standards.
  • Confirm coverage types, limits, endorsements, and additional insured/waiver of subrogation requirements.
  • Track expirations and proactively manage renewal certificate workflows to prevent missing renewed/current COI’s .
  • Surety Bond Administration Coordinate issuance, renewal, and release of construction related surety bonds across projects.
  • Partner with STACK’s brokers and internal project teams to meet contract deadlines for bond issuance.
  • Stakeholder Communication Serve as a central point of contact for vendors, carriers, and internal teams regarding certificates of insurance and bond requirements.
  • Communicate deficiencies or needed revisions and work with internal and external partners to resolve outstanding items.
  • Support ongoing process improvements around insurance compliance tracking and reporting.
