About The Position

Shelter Insurance is seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to become our newest Shelter Insurance Agent in Johnson City, TN. This position is designed for individuals who have a desire to meet new people, develop contacts, and become known in their community. We are looking for passionate individuals who want to serve their community, grow their sales and networking skills, and control their own income. This opportunity is ideal for those who have considered starting their own business but have been deterred by high start-up costs. At Shelter, we do not require a previous background in the insurance industry, as many of our successful agents come from diverse backgrounds such as real estate, retail sales, education, and coaching. We provide comprehensive training to help you build the foundation necessary to launch your agency.

Requirements

• Motivated attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Skilled capacity for effectively communicating with clients in a sales atmosphere.
• Some sales experience is helpful but not required.
• A degree with general business courses is helpful but not required.
