About The Position

Essential Duties Performs on-site demand and contract field services to support the customers’ installed based for instrumentation, to include diagnostic, troubleshooting, calibration and start-up and commissioning services. Recommends approaches on repairs, replacements and upgrades. Provides informal and on-the-job customer training. Effectively communicates customer needs and opportunities to the organization; and utilizes technical skills and abilities to develop tactics and strategies to support those customer needs. Partners with the sales team to execute tactics and strategies to improve customer satisfaction and service growth through available service programs. Reports performance measures toward goals. Executes timely completion of all required reports, certificates and relevant documents. Adheres to all safety and quality rules and regulations. Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and predictable attendance is essential for this position. Education and/or Work Experience Associate’s degree and three (3) years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma and five (5) years of relevant experience as an Instrument Technician or a similar role. Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Working as self-directed field/shop environment worker. Experience with bending and running tubing is preferred. TWIC, OSHA Safety, Security Passport. Valid State issued driver’s license. Requirements
