Requirements

  • Your commitment to keep each other safe.
  • 4+ years of experience as a Qualified Instrumentation Electrician in a first-class role.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC electrical and electronic theory, Ohm's Law, and Kirchhoff’s Law.
  • Experience in power factors, voltage drops, and National Electric Code applications.
  • Familiarity with instrument operation in a loop and variable frequency drives.
  • Skills in testing and calibration equipment, personal computers, and medium to high voltage circuits.
  • Ability to interpret and apply schematic drawings, wiring diagrams, and process flow drawings.
  • Experience with GE Limit Amp Starters, GE/Siemens vacuum circuit breakers, and ABB Gas circuit breakers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrating your expertise in advanced troubleshooting across electrical control, distribution, and motor protection systems to ensure smooth operations.
  • Installing and commissioning vital components such as switchgears, control devices, transformers, electrical feeders, motors, and process instruments to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Utilizing test equipment to diagnose and rectify high, medium, and low voltage electrical circuits, to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Installing and integrating state-of-the-art programmable logic controllers (PLCs), distributed control systems (DCS), and human machine interface (HMI) devices, while using advanced technologies for enhanced process controls.
  • Conducting repairs and calibrations on pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic instruments to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy.
