About The Position
INTEGRIS Health, Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit health system, is seeking an Instrument Tech in Edmond, OK. This full-time position is part of the Sterile Processing team, providing essential care. The role involves the proper decontamination, disassembling, cleaning, lubricating, packaging, wrapping, and sterilizing of all instruments using various methods like steam, automated reprocessors, and low temperature sterilizers. The successful candidate will also adhere to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate for the level of patient contact required. Responsibilities
- Proper decontamination of all instruments
- Disassembling, cleaning, lubricating, packaging, and wrapping all instruments
- Sterilizing all instruments using steam, automated reprocessors, and low temperature sterilizers
- Adhering to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires
