About The Position

Requirements

  • Requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic computer skills including functionality in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume and apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
  • Frequently required to lift/carry up to 50
  • Frequently required to push/pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Must meet vision requirements including near distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
  • Must have the ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including standard issued PPE and respiratory devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • ISA Certification preferred.
  • Electrical Journeyman’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and test motor control devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, solenoids, and other electrical equipment and components.
  • Diagnose the cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant controls and monitoring instrumentation.
  • Develop wiring diagrams, layout drawings and engineering specifications for system or equipment installations, modifications, or expansion.
  • Rebuild, repair, and calibrate control valves, actuators, positioners and in-line pressure regulators.
  • Plan, direct, and record periodic electrical testing and initiate modification or replacement of equipment.
  • Calibrate analog signal generating equipment. This includes, but is not limited to, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, flow transmitters, analytical transmitters, and process controllers.
  • Work with IE planner to develop repair plans.
