William Paterson University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure-track, 10-month position of Instructor in the College of Education, Department of Educational Leadership and Professional Studies. Position starts August 17, 2026. The Department of Educational Leadership and Professional Studies offers graduate study for professionals who wish to enhance their careers with advanced degrees, certifications, and endorsements. Reporting to the chair of the department, this instructor will teach master’s level courses in School Library Media (PreK-12) and Educational Technology programs. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to serve as the School Library Media Program Director and teach 30 credits annually. There may also be an opportunity to teach courses in the summer. The initial appointment is for a series of one-year contracts over a five (5) year period, with annual renewal based on satisfactory evaluations of qualifications, teaching excellence, effective support of students, and collegiality.
