Instructor of Information Systems What you will do: A successful candidate hired at the Instructor level can expect a 70%25 teaching work distribution (7 courses annually), 10%25 service, and 20%25 research/scholarship. The instructor role has research/scholarship responsibilities that may consist of publications in practitioner journals, documented professional education experiences, or participation in professional conferences. Successful candidates will be an integral part of programs and instruction for the Information Systems area. They should feel comfortable teaching undergraduate and graduate students (BSBA with Information Systems Major, MBA or MS Information Systems). Candidates may be tasked with teaching and/or developing courses related to some of the following topics Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, programming languages such as JavaScript and Python, Database Management Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Mining, and Information Technology Management and Information Systems Strategy.
