About The Position

The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is seeking a qualified candidate to teach as a non-tenure track, full-time Instructor of English. The start date is August 2026. This is a residential appointment, and campus presence is required.

Requirements

• An M.A. with at least 18 hours in English is required.

Nice To Haves

• An M.A. in English is preferred.
• Ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in and experience in teaching Professional & Technical Communication, Report Writing, and Composition in person and online.

Responsibilities

• 4/4 teaching load with assignments in Professional & Technical Communication, Report Writing, and Composition
• Courses may be offered in-person, hybrid, or online, as assigned to meet student needs.
• Contribute to the Writing Program in collaboration with the Writing Program Director and fellow faculty
• Regular and predictable attendance required
• Perform other duties as assigned
