About The Position

Northwestern State University Department of English, Languages, and Cultural Studies seeks an experienced candidate who will provide high-quality instruction in undergraduate English courses, primarily First-Year Composition (FYC) and introduction to literature, in both face-to face and online settings as well as in dual enrollment settings as needed. THIS IS AN INTERNAL POSTING ONLY. Review of applications will begin immediately. Applications will be considered until the position is filled. The start date for the position is January 5, 2026.

Requirements

Master's degree in English or related field required.
At least 5 years of experience teaching writing both online and face-to-face and experience teaching dual enrollment students.
Candidates must also demonstrate experience with the recruiting and retention of students and professional service to an academic Department and University.
