About The Position
The Department of Educational Psychology is currently welcoming applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions for the upcoming academic term. We are seeking qualified candidates to teach in-person/on-campus courses in one or more of the following areas: Developmental Psychology Educational Psychology School Psychology Institutional Research Research Methods Statistics School Counseling Gifted Education Applicants should have relevant academic or professional experience in these subject areas. Position Descriptions: The Department of Educational Psychology is seeking qualified applicants for a part-time adjunct faculty pool to teach courses in one or more of the following areas: Developmental Psychology Educational Psychology School Psychology Institutional Research Research Methods Statistics School Counseling Gifted Education This is an in-person/on-campus position. Individuals in the adjunct pool will be contacted only if an opportunity becomes available in their area(s) of expertise.
Requirements
- To teach undergraduate courses: Master’s degree in education, psychology, or a closely related field from an accredited institution, by date of appointment.
- To teach graduate courses: Doctoral degree in education, psychology, school psychology, research methods, or statistics from an accredited institution, by date of appointment or meet tested experience policy requirements.
- Ability to teach in-person on campus.
- Must be able to teach In Person at Ball State Campus
- Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver course content in assigned subject areas
- Serve as the instructor of record
- Teach and support students in a face-to-face campus environment
- Evaluate student performance and maintain course records
