About The Position

As the School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating school health services. Your objective will be to maximize in-class time by reducing health-related absenteeism, minimize learning-impairing health problems, and foster the highest level of independent functioning possible.

Requirements

• Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
• National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) certification is preferred but not required.
• Hold a Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess a valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate in School Psychology, or be eligible to obtain state certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate counseling, instruction, and mentoring to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
• Promote wellness and resilience by reinforcing communication skills, social skills, problem-solving abilities, anger management, self-regulation, self-determination, and optimism.
• Conduct observations of students in classrooms and various school settings to gain valuable insights.
