About The Position
The Division of Kinesiology and Sport Management (KSM) at the University of South Dakota invites applications for a full-time instructor or lecturer position beginning Fall 2026. We are seeking a dynamic and collaborative educator who is passionate about student success and committed to excellence in teaching and engagement.
Requirements
- Minimum of a master's degree in kinesiology, sport management, or related area.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Nice To Haves
- Evidence of successful teaching experience and ability to teach across multiple areas of kinesiology.
Responsibilities
- Teach a variety of undergraduate courses across the kinesiology and sport management curriculum. Possibilities include Introduction to Kinesiology and Sport Management, Organization and Administration of KSM, Resistance Training Basics, and Stress Management.
- Engage in departmental, university, and professional service.
- Serve as advisor for the Young Professionals in Exercise and Sport club.
