Full-time faculty positions at Clovis Community College are not remote positions and require a physical presence on campus to fulfill teaching duties, conduct office hours, and fulfill other college-related responsibilities. The Clinical Coordinator is a faculty position with responsibilities that include both classroom/clinical teaching and coordination of clinical education activities. The Clinical Coordinator maintains a teaching load consistent with faculty workload expectations and provides leadership in planning, coordinating, and overseeing clinical learning experiences in collaboration with clinical partners and nursing faculty. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining clinical partnerships, verifying and orienting preceptors, and ensuring high-quality clinical learning experiences aligned with program outcomes and accreditation standards. The Clinical Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the Physical Therapy Assistant program and clinical agencies and plays a central role in preparing and supporting clinical sites and preceptors for student success. Duties are performed in the context of a comprehensive community college; understanding of the community college mission and philosophy will be critical to success.
