In partnership with Heating & Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland, Cecil College offers a 4-year HVAC/R Apprenticeship program to prepare and train individuals in HVAC/R. The Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor of Maryland (HACC) is a trade association for independent heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) contractors in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The organization actively promotes and protects the interests and welfare of the industry, its members, and the consumers it serves. The Apprenticeship Program was established in 1996 to train technicians to work in the HVACR industry. Well-trained, reliable technicians are in constant demand in the industry. We are currently looking for instructors to teach in our apprentice program. The program runs September through April, two nights a week, in the evenings, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Past teaching experience is preferred, but we are really looking for people who are passionate about the industry and teaching the next generation. If you have been in the industry and are ready to give back this may be the perfect opportunity for you.
