CCRI Division of Workforce Partnerships is seeking qualified applicants for part-time ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) instructors for the Spring session in 2026 (January - April). We accept applications on an on-going basis and will contact qualified candidates as course availability opens. Workforce Partnerships currently has multiple openings for part-time instructors to teach: Level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 on Monday/Wednesday and/or Tuesday/Thursday 6:30-8:30pm and/or Saturdays 9am-1pm. This is a 4- to 8-hour/week position at the Lincoln, Providence campus. The non-credit English Language Studies (ELS) program at CCRI assists individuals who need to begin or expand their English language skills in order to succeed in their studies and careers. Students come from a wide range of countries, educational levels, and language backgrounds. Focus is given to developing integrated skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Engage in high-quality language instruction in a diverse, inclusive, student-centered environment Ability to work with students with various learning styles, cultures, and life experiences both online and in person. Prepare effective lesson plans and provide supplemental material to achieve course objectives and address student needs Integrate technology and active learning strategies to enhance instruction Keep detailed and organized records of students' attendance, assessments, and progress, including a final evaluation Collaborate with the coordinator and other instructors in the program and attend meetings as needed Demonstrate a commitment to professional development in adult education
