As a part-time instructor in the Manufacturing, Automotive and Construction Technology college, you will provide instruction in all levels of electronics, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You will teach courses that train students to become electronics and industrial maintenance technicians filling positions with local companies in a variety of industries including aerospace, defense, energy, medical equipment, and industrial instruments. Courses in the you may teach include, Safety, Print Reading, Fundamentals of DC/AC, Advanced DC/AC, Electronics Assembly, Industrial Wiring, Motors and Controls, Digital Devices I, Operational Amplifiers, Vacuum and Power RF Systems, PLCs, Microprocessors, Solid State Devices and Circuits, and Robotics Technology. Course assignments will be made based on experience. You will work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College. This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.
