The Department of Finance in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a temporary, one-year instructor position in Finance. The starting date for the position is August 16, 2026. Candidates must possess a Masters’ or Ph.D. degree in Finance or a related field by the start date. The teaching load will be six courses (three per semester), consisting of undergraduate finance courses. ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT : The Department of Finance currently has 20 full-time faculty members, including 13 tenured or tenure-track professors and 7 continuing-track professors. The Department offers degree programs in Finance, Fintech, and Financial Planning and Wealth Management, and it also supports the College's MBA program and Ph.D. programs in Economics and Financial Services Analytics. The Department has a collegial, supportive environment and seeks candidates who share these values.
