As a part-time instructor in the Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) Program, you will provide instruction in all levels of Computer Assisted Design and Drafting, including certificate and/or transfer levels. Course assignments will be made based on experience. Specifically, CAD Program is currently looking to hire enthusiastic professionals from design and drafting industry who are interested in teaching one or more of the following design and CAD software courses: Mechanical Design, Geometric Dimension/Tolerance, Civil Survey and Drafting, CAD software 2D and 3D AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, Fusion, 3DS MAX, SketchUp, 3D Civil or SolidWorks, 3D printing and Scanning. Documented work experience per the necessary course is required. You will work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College. This position does have the opportunity to work remotely occasionally but does require a strong on-campus presence and may require occasional travel to all three FRCC campuses.
