About The Position
Radford University invites applications for a Full Time Special Purpose 9-month faculty position in the College of Nursing at the Radford Higher Education Center location. Teaching responsibilities include in-person lecture, skill laboratory instruction, and clinical teaching in acute care settings for undergraduate students. Preference will be given to those applicants with prior in-person teaching experience and those with recent clinical experience. Radford University is a student-focused institution offering 76 bachelor's degree programs in 47 disciplines, two associate degrees, and six certificates at the undergraduate level; 28 master's programs in 23 disciplines and six doctoral programs at the graduate level; and 17 post-baccalaureate certificates and one post-master's certificate preparing approximately 7,500 students to become successful and productive leaders in the community. Requirements
- Applicants must have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- An unencumbered Virginia RN license
- At least five years of acute care clinical experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior teaching experience in the classroom and clinical practice setting
- Current clinical practice
- A doctorate in Nursing or a related discipline is preferred (DNP, PhD, or EdD)
