About The Position

The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Nursing Community and Population Health Department is seeking a non-tenure full-time Instructor/Assistant Professor. Academic rank is at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level based upon academic credentials. Responsibilities for this role include traditional and online teaching, clinical practice assignments in the community, and skills/simulation lab, in addition to other educational responsibilities. Research /scholarship activities, as well as service responsibilities, will be determined in collaboration with the Department Chair.

Requirements

  • Master’s of Science in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in community and population health nursing is desired.
  • Teaching experience in a professional nursing program is desired.
