The Instructional Technology Specialist organizes and delivers research and instruction services to Wellesley College students, faculty, staff, and other constituencies engaged in the academic disciplines of the College. The IT Specialist maintains and supervises the use of digital technologies in support of video editing, digital print and multimedia production and fabrication; works with faculty, staff and students to ensure the proper use of equipment and materials through course-integrated instruction, individual consultations and service point coverage; applies expertise to the selection of new technologies and solutions; provides formal and informal programs to orient new faculty, staff and students to college-supported information and technology services and resources; manages the circulating multimedia equipment collection; provides operational support. The IT specialist also hires, trains, and supervises student workers supporting multimedia projects and circulating equipment.
