As a member of the Curriculum & Instruction’s Online Learning team, the Instructional Technologist serves primarily as a technology expert while also playing a key role in supporting course development. As the technology expert, this role manages the systems and account administration of our EdTech platforms and tools while also providing training materials, workshops and tech support on these topics. This role will also be a key contributor to initiatives to scale course development and expand team capacity, such as collaborating with IT to develop system automations and platform integrations. Additionally, the Instructional Technologist supports the Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) team in designing and setting up courses that create effective and engaging learning environments aligned with desired outcomes. The role collaborates with the instructional designer and other C&I team members across disciplines to adapt and optimize assessments, activities, and assignments for digital platforms, ensuring accessibility, ease of use, engagement, and robust data collection in asynchronous and hybrid learning models.
