About The Position

SAIC is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to support Hardware in the Loop - Aviation (HWIL-A) to analyze, design, and develop Interactive Multimedia Instruction and Serious Games with levels of interactivity ranging from Levels 2-4 in accordance with the Army Virtual Learning Environment. This position is fully remote. Our team is based in Huntsville, AL. JOB DESCRIPTION: Analyzing training needs and developing solutions to address them Providing consultation and recommendations to customers on innovative training solutions as well as on effective and relevant curriculum development Creating asynchronous and synchronous instruction designed for a distributed immersive learning environment Working with instructors, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate distributed learning solutions Creating storyboards, scripts, scenario-based instruction, and other advanced learning strategies to meet the needs of learners Providing expertise in the creation of processes, and implementation of distributed learning Performing the actual detailed development of course materials or courseware, as well as product testing, and maintenance

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and three (3)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Knowledge and understanding of Bloom's Taxonomy
  • Experience with curriculum design/development and learning solutions
  • Experience collecting, compiling, analyzing and synthesizing learner/customer feedback
  • Experience using Microsoft 365 suite applications
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • No clearance required to start, but must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance
  • Must be a current US Citizen
