Serco is seeking an Instructional Designer/Curriculum Developer to join our team supporting the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Charleston, SC, who will report to the Senior ISD/Contract Project Manager. This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a DHS Public Trust clearance prior to starting employment. In this role you will: Works under the supervision of the Project Manager/Senior Instructional Designer to develop and document instructor-led, paper-based, and technology delivered curricula or performance support solutions. Work with subject matter experts and instructors to design and develop lesson plans, student guides, quizzes, and other elements of scenario-based and performance-based instructor-led and web-based training under the guidance of a Sr. ISD Work with an instructional design team (instructional designers, graphic artists, SMEs, instructors) and project and program managers to design responsive training and/or performance support solutions and schedules Update and maintain course content for instructor-led and web-based courses Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the ISD process and fosters design innovation. Captures and diagrams workflow processes, conducts task analysis and workflow observations. Participates in visual design, prototyping, and usability testing and evaluation. Reviews products throughout analysis, design, and development for style guidelines, writing standards, and sensible course/task flow. Demonstrate knowledge of law enforcement and training accreditation to assist the Senior ISD in fostering design innovation in training these areas Support evidence gathering to support accreditation requirements
